I get Roxy fans because they are fundamentally just lolicons, and dislike all non-loli characters by default. But I think the seethe over Eris' good intentions gone awry is a little much, and half the blame is on Rudy's interpretation anyways. Unfortunately I think her ability to act as his emotional complement is gutted when she returns, and she's just "the wife who can fight" rather than "the girl who knows her weaknesses and works hard to work around them to help Rudy out". Her love is a lot more interesting (pre-abandonment) than Sylphy's puppy love/dependency and Roxy's lust + feelings of gratitude. The fact that in the shit timeline Eris alone was still dedicated to him speaks a lot about the concept but the execution fucking sucked.Missed opportunity, the heroine.
