Last thread ended with some discussion about the ending and yeah, I still can't confidently say whether Trigger is trolling with these characters or not. It's less about whether Trigger is ballsy enough to drop the entire identity behind the show and completely revamp it from the ground up and more so the fact that if they are just going to undo all of it in the first episode of Season 3, what else are they gonna do with the og characters? More parodies? Focus on other characters besides Panty? Because lord knows they can't do that. I just realized that the graffiti in episode 11 did in fact foreshadow the ending. The part at the top depicts gods being turned into stone and tossed into Hell kamikaze style. Garterbelt did say that the Heavenly Weapon was an ancient legend, so evidently this happened in the distant past as part of a war between Heaven and Hell. Of course the gods get tossed individually instead of as a superweapon like Ramie tried, so it wasn't an apocalyptic event and presumably ended with a truce.And the black thing the demons climb onto could be part of Satan, maybe his hand emerging from the ground. This is just speculation but since demons seem more long lived than gods and Scanty and Kneesocks mention their father being asleep until a world shattering event wakes him up, so that could be him in hibernation.
