I know these threads are basically /railgun/, but I took a massive detour to see Egeskov Castle. 6/10 it was in the middle of nowhere and there were no cute scantily dressed gods anywhere.

Just caught up on GT 5-10. What a joke this series is getting to trying to raise the stakes constantly. 5 even had Touma's thoughts that "this isn't a convenient world where people who die can be brought back to life" only for that to just happen multiple times over the next 4 books. From what it seems people were talking about for 11-13 it doesn't seem like that will get better from here.

Yeah it's one of my favorite books in the series too. I did like Misaki's volumes, so I wouldn't say it's the last book I enjoyed.
I spent way too much time trying to take this photo recreating the illustration in the book, and I was too embarassed to tell my friend that I took a massive detour from Copenhagen just to recreate a shot from a light novel. Part of me wonders if the location was just Kamachi showing off his vacation. There was a board where visitors could put a pin on a world map to show where they came from, and Japan had quite a few. I wonder how many of them came from reading Index. I will say I was the only Asian there for miles and miles though.

Well, she did combine it with vacuum area to remove all air resistance. So she did have a plan there even if it didn't work out.

I'm still disappointed we didn't get to see some of the statements from other characters at the funeral. It would have been funny seeing Birdway give a business like address with red eyes and Mark cleaning the annihilated room in the background.
