I tried to do it with the movie a few years ago but I forgot to watch it.
I'll just watch the haruhi movie like every year. I don't even remember much of the show but I know the movie by heart

The second season is extremely boring. It has nothing to do with Christmas. They rush through it very quickly. The girl's costume is just a silly excuse for another arc about another puberty-related illness that is too long and boring. The worst arc so far.

If you wanted to watch a Christmas anime, you'll be disappointed. I didn't feel the Christmas spirit in any of the episodes.
Better watch another anime for Christmas.

I only found out because I wanted to rewatch the whole thing before s2. I had only seen s1 and 'the' movie.
