>>282611692Based
>>282611625This show was garbage anti-racism propagandaAlso the show becomes pathetic once you realize the writer is a woman and the entire thing is a "I CAN FIX HIM" fantasy
>>282611625Princession Orchestra had a bit of a rough, slow start. I'm glad I stuck with it though. It turned into absolute kino. It's like a softer, friendlier Symphogear.
I came so close to dropping it after the first episode. It was great.
>>282611822DIY was lovely.
>>282611692I have never watched (Bake)Monogatari but I'm pretty sure that says 敬馬 (Keima?), which definitely does not mean "surprise"
>>282611625Kingdom. The first season had abysmal production quality but then for s2 they went full 2d and it's amazing onward.
>>282611647almost filtered
>>282611625Solo Leveling. It really picked up in the second season. I can see why its considered AOTY
I stopped watching toaru after railgun s1 but came back after 4 years and watched the rest of railgun and index. railgun season 2 was so good, i liked the earlier episodes of index but what the fuck was happening in season 3???https://youtu.be/1fxyuHgMFDM?t=377
Once the hero stops passing out 24/7 it's wraps around to being a funny wholesome fantasy anime. Add in some fan service, wacky gun magic, and not bad premise for just dumb fun
>>282613050It's actually one kanji (驚) that means surprise.
I know how some people like Gintama from get-go so that was my motivation to keep going because the first 20 episodes truly are a slog and the jokes are not.. good and references to 00's things primarily isn't as fun as coming up with something timeless. But boy was sticking through until things started opening up and the first serious arcs were genuinely amazing.

Katanagatari. Wasn't feeling it until the halfway point and suddenly I was really invested
