Why did Toriyama keep making worse designs for old characters that people liked? Was it just to spite the fans of things that he didn't personally make? Z Broly, Bardock, SS4 all had big followings and all just look worse when Toriyama redesigned them later on. Although, I'm pretty sure Bardock was initially designed by toriyama since he appeared like he looks in the ova in the manga. Just a very weird situation, all the designs weren't broke, so why try to "fix" them?
