Have you ever hunted mammoths with your life in the line?
>>282617633>caring about 3dpd
>>282617573>probably another PowerPoint seasonKek, it amazes me that this and Tokyo Revengers have probably been the two most relevant things Kodansha has released in the last 20 years, and both of them have shit tier adaptations. Why do they care so little? Haikyuu was also heavily fujo, but its anime was top-notch.
>>282617926tokyo revengers is good tho. it has good animation and voice acting, and is overhated by pseudo-elitists. and it's far better than re:zero
Imagine the kaiser png sliding in this scene
>>282617991>C O O M E D
>>282617960It looked stiff as fuck
>no date>not even a key visual>all the money is going to the live action that will air at the same time as the WC>the NEL was shit>the WC is shit so far tooIt's so over BLsisters
>>282617926Yes, it's funny how Blue Lock is their magazine's biggest hit, making them a lot of money, but the quality of the anime is pretty poor, while several animes that are much less successful and profitable than Blue Lock have better anime. I admit, this makes me curious and confused.Don't they think the series doesn't need a good anime because it's already so successful?
>>282617618>SAVE OUR DECLINING SALESSales are declining?
>>282618151I'm assuming their mindset is that they don't have to put much effort in, because it's popular and people will eat it up anyway in contrast to an IP that still has to break into the market
>>282618101>Don't they think the series needs a good anime because it's already so successful?Honestly, I don't know. Take Go Toubun, for example. The first season was... weird, but it made the manga a huge hit. Even so, instead of letting the same season make the second season too, they changed studios to one that would follow the manga's style more closely so that it would look nicer, and later, they released OVAs made by Shaft, a high-budget studio
>>282617926Just look at 5toubun. Unpopular opinion, but S1 looked the best (especiall the 11th episode with Shaft) but the studio had only 3 months to polish it. S2 and the movie is generic looking crap despite selling 20 million copies or so. Or look at Nanatsu no Taizai. Another one that was at least acceptable looking, but went to look abysmal beyond S2. Kodansha and WSM for that matter barely produces quality adaptations that never decrease in quality in the long run. WSJ more or less barely had any missess if it's a product they care about and not a last minute pity adaptation.
>>282618217Something like that, but honestly, it's natural. Many people bought the manga just because of the WC 2022 fomo, and what followed was the NEL arc, which at times felt too slow and dragged
>>282617573who cares even if the animation suddenly becomes super good. Neo Egoist League SUCKS. too fucking long.
>>282617573
>>282617573NEL has the same length as everything that was adapted before. 36 episodes minimum for the whole arc and if they have any decency, there will be breaks in-between the cours.
>>282618354I'm pretty sure it was actually longer
>>282618382Ends in over 300 and they adapted about 150 chapters IIRC so far.
The worst part about the NEL is that in retrospect it feels absolutely pointless. No one important was eliminated (aside from Nagi, who’s coming back anyway), there was no meaningful character development, all the foreign players were made to look like jobbers killing the hype for the WC,and Isagi didn’t even secure top 1. The writing was just bad overall with a lot of filler monologues and teleporting. Honestly, if you deleted this arc and jumped straight into the WC, nothing would change.
