I liked how they were contrasting the retro nostalgia of AI being used to help humanity with the modern perception of it making everything worse. I also thought the romance was very cute. A little melodramatic for my tastes, but could be worse. Hopefully it stays with those themes and doesn't turn into robot battle action shlock.Although actually, if it does it's kind of a reverse Terminator. The machine-hating humans are the bad guys and the robots are the heroes. Could be interesting in the right hands.

>>282641174but angel beats... wait fuck that's 2010. hibimeshi was good, buddy daddies was good, paripi koumei was good, charlotte was okay, they just had mikadono sisters this past season and that was a fun watch, sakura quest was good, and they make the uma musume stuff right? some of it at least are good, shirobako was good, Maquia was a great movie even if bereft of substance. a lot of their works, especially originals, are misses and tend to shit the bed in the second half or last third, but in general they make decent 7/10 anime.

This episode was really predictable. For a sci-fi I really want to see some new ideas which this show lacked, instead the romance was the focus.
