what's the best tablet for reading manga?
>>
>>282621081
13" or larger
wrapped in plastic so I can coom on it directly, wrap up the evidence, and dispose
>>
>>282621081
Whatevers most affordable really. I would probably say between 8-10 inches unless you want to read as duble spreads because some scans and even official ebooks (yen press) will be too low resolution for anything larger.
>>
>>282621123
why cooming on screen?
>>
don't read in single page mode you dumb monkey
>>
>>282621739
Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answer to.
>>
>>282621955
Majority of manga pages are single pages. Spreads are very rare.
>>
>>282621081
Screens with ability to output 1000nits continuously
>>
>>282621081
I use a Tab S9+ and it looks great for reading manga
>>
>>282621081
Galaxy s8+ is good but not bright enough for my liking
>>
>>282621955
>>282622062
Use right to left so you see the spread coming and change orientation to see the whole thing.
>>
Boox Go color 7 or page for manga works really nice, install mihon/yokai and be happy, battery lasts a week or so, put a large SD card for saving the files, and you have something that works nice even on travels, or away from a charger and don't give you migraines if you read on it for a entire day. the one with a larger screen would be even better, but the 7" is already good enough for manga.

11” iPad Pro M4
>>
Always wanted a device around a nexus 7's size for reading. Yeah yeah heard how it's too small and such but that would be a nice device to one hand and could stash on my person easier if I were to take it out.
Make do with a 10 inch tablet that's getting long in the tooth now, which works fine enough for reading manga/shitposting I guess.
>>
>>282621955
You can just turn it on its side for the double spread.
>>
Boox Tab X C
$760
13" Color e-ink with a b&w resolution of 3200x2400.

How are you even going to tell if something is a spread without seeing both pages? They're still distributed as single pages.
And there's situations beyond spreads where you need to cross reference both pages to get the big picture.
What do you even gain from reading with single pages?
>>

Just buy a cheap one on sale. Black friday probably has some affordable ones.

thiikng about buying picrel. any advice?
>>
I was considering getting one for manga. Probably at least 10 inches. Kinda doubt I'll find one I'm happy with price on though
>>
>>282623174
Most readers have an option to read spreads as a single page

while we're here what manga apps are good these days? im on android and after tachiyomi died i was using kotatsu but havent used it int a while i think it stopped working last i remember
>>
>>282623663
A normal manga reader software will render everything as double pages when there's enough horizontal room available.
There's nothing in the metadata specifically singling out spread images and there's no real way they could be handled if space is insufficient.
>>
i know a big screen like 12 inches would be good but i prefer 8 to 10 inches so i can comfortably hold the tablet in one hand
>>
>>282623811
You can hold 13" tablet in a hand perfectly fine.
But a better solution is getting something that you don't need to hold them at all like a tablet arm or cushion. Add a bluetooth page turner for extra comfort.

What's that mango? It looks terrible, I can tell just by the artstyle that it's melodramatic or tragic garbage.
>>
>>282621081
I don't read manga. Too much words.
