Something that stands out about this show is how Dekomori is almost always the true voice of reason. Even calling Nibutani a fake is correct, but not in that she’s literally a fake Morisummer, but in the sense that she’s being a shallow faker. But the part that stands out the most is when she’s crying after Rikka leaves to go see her father’s grave. She hits the mark on how Yuuta is handling this wrong, and how Rikka wants him to reach out to her and tell her not to go. She’s childish but sees things how they truly are, because she’s smart while also not being bound to these conventional ideas of the way you’re supposed to be, or how supposed to deal with your problems as an adult.
