Massively Improved in season 2 but it's way too late because First impression is everything. It can have a Yaiba tier animation in Season 3 and no one will care about it because you fucked up for the first time
Ninkoro was a better assassin anime and the protagonists are even less gayer than this one

For me it sort of falls into the One Punch Man principle where unless Saitama or in this case Sakamoto is fighting it just kind of boring
