Wow. I basically already dropped the show in the middle because of how damn cheesy the minor heroines' arcs were, but somehow I decided to finish it and managed to finish it before this thread dies. I'm glad I did so because it got good when the main arc (not sure what it's called but I just call it the After Story) started. I couldn't stop tearing up during the climax, but the final episode felt anti-climactic and I'm still confused about certain parts of the story. What happened to Hitomi? Why did Shiroha deciding to move on from the past result in Umi supposedly not being born? Also confused on Shiroha's powers. If she had the power to relive her time with her parents, wouldn't time keep looping and not result in the "main" summer not happening at all?And what's up with that vague hint at a good ending at the end? Japan sure loves these things, huh? It's kinda like the ending of Kimi to na wa where they both end up meeting each other again after crossing through time, but with a weaker execution.I enjoyed the main story overall though, even though they reused certain elements from previous Key games. Part of it reminded me of Fuuko's arc in the anime where Tomoya and Nagisa spent time with Fuuko while she gradually started to fade away from everyone's memories. There's also the part where they incorporated game mechanics (replaying the game multiple times) into the story, though perhaps less blatant than in Clannad.Also I already forgot what happened with the other heroines and I don't really care about them, but it seemed like their problems are all magically fixed or something after Umi's disappearance. Weren't two of them not actually real human beings?Finally, sex with Shiroha.
