It was a breath of fresh air when every single anime of its time where trying too hard.The calm first episodes free from any perverted scenes really set it apart. (Ceiu's songs are still stuck in my ears) It was very slow burnBy the time the twist comes in, the characters were already very fleshed out.Looking back, it was not really anything significant, but it was a step above the common noisy and perverted anime of the 2007'sThe calm and soothing theme was later on toppled by Aria

>>282652228I love this show. Kanon was one of my favorite anime and so was Da Capo. Combine the writer of Kanon with the character designer of Da Capo and you get a tear jerker love story made just for me. I bought the R2s.Man, last anime they made like this was Nagi no Asukara.
