That's an extremely retarded logic, it's more that Shueisha has run out of things to adapt because they canceled a lot of good manga from Weekly Shonen Jump so now there's not that many that sell well and a lot of new batches from Jump+ have been pretty bad so they did multiple mass cancelations recently. Doesn't help with that Young Jump which is still amazing gives a lot of breaks to their mangaka meaning that it's harder to get enough source material to adapt from them and that some Shueisha adaptations have performed worse than expected in Japan due to having Remow as a producer.
Basically I think this is the worst Shueisha has been in a long time and I could see them and I could see them changing multiple of their chief editors yet again.

In my view it was at least implied that the two guys were developing feelings for each other, but all the girls seemed to have a chance. Shogakukan and Square Enix keep publishing mostly great manga and there's a lot of web only manga that do great like Made in Abyss so the Manga industry is still really creative and not stagnant at all.
It's just the anime industry that is stagnant because remakes/reboots are safer choices than trying something new, hardly anyone wants to do mecha due to production costs and Kadokawa which has a lot of money spends most of it adapting several narou-kei that blends with each other. This summer was luckily really great and there seems to be a bunch if newer animators that are actually talented luckily but sadly most producers will want to spend money on remakes with some of them being manga that didn't really require some or are butchered due to Remow's involvement like the case of Nube and Ranma.

Having children is a pretty big commitment however you look at it and the clan is spartan to say the least when grooming the new generations. Who would want to be forced into giving birth to a child who would be practically tortured? MC stepped in with the condition that he at least got to choose his wife and create a family of his own on his terms. Besides, kidnapping the potential candidates so he's forced into an harem has been revealed to be their grand plan anyway

Because the entire manga is about big dumb shonen fight with harembait and gay fetish. You don't need to impose reality into it.

I have mixed feelings about this adaptation.
I like the manga but i admit it is bit TOO gimmicky, too reliant on repeating jokes (we went from specialist assassin around the world.....to Naruto levels of "everyone is an specialist" in any job)
My only fear is that many anons will get filtered by Animal Kingdom Namek....and for good reason, god damn that arc went forever (even though it had great moments, both for action and romance)

In any case i'm looking forward to it. Best girls are hamster girl and the water user, any other answer is automatically wrong
