This series is sweet and fluffy, take that as you will. There hasn't been drama for a long time. Otaku-kun used to have a personality but all he's been doing is being cute for the past 50 chapters. I can't even call him an MC at this point. I miss the neurotic weirdo. Also why does every side character male look like a giga chad or an ikeman but the side character girls look like jimiko background characters?

I am very happy with this getting an anime, I am enjoying the current chapters too (well translation is behind) the resolve of the girls...:BUT, it feels like the protagonist just goes along with the ride and has no more agency of its own, we are at the point where the author needs to have him man up, especially since he had the girls straight up say they want him to confess, but I am still waiting for this growth to see his point of view and am wondering how long until it begins, I don't want to see a last minute victory.

The bolder thing is it being a "classic love triangle" you see in a lot of male oriented romance manga except it's shoujo so you naturally have more focus on the girls. I'm only surprised it doesn't happen more often, with how diverse modern harem demographics are you'd think a shoujo editor would try to capture back some of the ladies.
