A common trope in anime storytelling is having enemies that are, on paper, extremely dangerous and unstoppable for basically everyone... except for the 4-5 people in the world that we follow who just hard counter them and make them look like chumps. The Angels from Evangelion, who can only be beaten by an opposing AT Field. Various magical girl and toku themed enemies, who can only be beaten by hyper specific magical powers largely unique to the heroes, etc. These guys exist just to get their asses kicked and to justify the existence of the hero, and I want to have a thread to appreciate them. Tell me about your favorite mook enemies, the cannon fodder from a show you liked, and justify how they would be *absolutely terrifying* in any other context than the show that is designed to treat them like disposable trash. Or just talk about how their design is cool. I'm sure they would appreciate that too.
>be strongest hero in the world>his only reason to exist is to be mogged by a japanese school boy and his sluts
>>282695711To anyone that doesn't specifically have magical protection, the Noise from Symphogear are basically unstoppable and an unavoidable massacre for any humans in the area. It doesn't matter how strong you are, if you are not immune to magical disintegration you punch a random mook Noise once and just fucking die from contact.
