Let's settle this once and for all: ONE is not the author of the OPM manga, because he isn't. Murata is. On the surface Murata is credited for "the manga" and the english credit used on the online chapter releases is only for the art which will mislead retards, but if you look at how bookstores credit the volumes, Murata is credited as the author/writer specifically. ONE's credit is consistently "original work" no matter where you look, and it means that he created the webcomic which the manga is based on. The english "story by" works the same way, a person can be dead and still get a "story by" credit as long as a work is partially based on something they authored. And we've known this all since the beginning because ONE didn't create the manga, Murata did. Copyright law mandated that Murata needed ONE's permission, and ONE had to receive the source credit, but neither of these things makes him the writer. Much of the manga has been adapted as it was written in the webcomic, but that is by choice. As the author Murata is free to deviate from the source material as he has done on multiple occasions.

The point of all this is that you cannot prove whether or not any of the manga original writing came from ONE based on a credit that doesn't refer to the manga. You can compare writing styles, or ideally you can refer to statements from Murata and/or ONE like when we got to see some of ONE's drafts for the tournament arc. You can't assume ONE is actively writing for the manga because he isn't, he's been working on his own ongoing series (and the webcomic) for most of the manga's existence. He can ask Murata, or Murata can ask him, but the only person who actively works on the manga is Murata.

tl;dr Murata is responsible for the state of the manga because he's the author and has the final say on everything.

>settle it once and for all
It will never be settled. Most people here already agree and the few that don't will never agree out of spite/trolling, this conversation is meaningless. Anyone who still defends the manga/murata is doing so because they find it entertaining. You will never convince them, save the effort and don't bother
