A novel you really like to read and almost know the lines by heart translated in to japanese in a good way to start on the novel journey. Parallel text in short stories do this too. I've posted a few of those books before. I'm not sure if you're that anon. Knowing the context helps extremely well because you're more likely to understand the sentences intuitively in japanese. I did that for a while. novels still take me an extremely long time to go through. there's a couple very small ones for children that i like such as the kadokawa tsubasa series. you will probably quit a ton of times. It's taken me a month to get through logh's first 4 pages as even if you learn 1 new word a month, progress is progress and it's still helping you continue to be successful in learning nip.
