Meemee, Mayu, and Daifuku are seriously such good friends. There’s a lot of great lessons to be had in Wonderful. I’m not sure if anyone else feels this way but I just don’t feel that same level of closeness from the Idol cast. Meroron is so close to Purirun that it’s cartoonish (unbelievable) and I really haven’t seen much between the other girls besides Uta and Purirun who incidentally both happen to be my favorite characters this season. They all feel more like members in the same idol group rather than friends. Almost like coworkers you’re really friendly with

This is one place where it devastates slop like Prism Paradise which feels held prisoner to its 12 episode bricks and has too little story to tell in some of them, too much story to tell in some of them, and feels extremely uneven. Aikatsu succeeds here because it masks its structure well.

To conclude my Aikatsu posting for this evening, I will simply say that Idlezzz will never generate this level of interest or discussion that the Aikatsu series managed because Idlezzz is merely cashing in on the idol trend. It does not wear the dress, but the saddle, and bridled as it is, it fails to establish its own identity as both Pretty Cure and Idol since it walks only the path down which it is led, lest the whip come down upon it. I think more people will agree when, here after Idlezzz is finished, they look back upon the path it made and see that it did not walk with honor or even volition.

There are some crossover antics, 3 episodes in all IIRC, but you've already watched the most important season to Hugtto, and I don't think you really need to watch other seasons as long as you can roll with the antics.
