The thing that made me laugh was that it's supposed to be set 10 years in the future and yet all of their tech is what we already have today.
In terms of lazy romance, I hate incest romance the most. "Why do they like each other? Because they grew up in the same house." In the same vein are: "They live next to each other" "They sit next to each other in class" "arranged marriage" where their romance is more a case of relative distance and exposure to one another instead of real compatibility.
