I just caught up on jojolands and I think it's starting to hit its stride. howler is basically jobin in a full villain slot. the fights are cool and much shorter and less drawn out. I didn't care for the cast at the beginning but they became a lot more likeable

The problem is that it's still a Shonen. It's just that Araki writes for a higher age bracket. But it's the same kiddie stuff.
