I wish we had a Conan movie, or maybe even a book, written like a traditional detective. Gosho's style of writing is fun and iconic, but it's obviously aimed at kids; he likes coming up with insane setups and gadgets, so it's less about the mystery and more about what Rube Goldberg machine of murder he'll come up with this week. I wouldn't say it's possible to actually deduce the answer in most cases.I wanna see a Conan story that relies on pure detective reasoning, with no far-fetched schemes beyond what an average intelligent person could come up with and pull off.

Sometimes it's a language barrier with it being a japanese manga, Conan has all the information for a motive before the reader, some of the setups are too wild for me to guess.
