People are posting about shipbaiting and whatever, but I think it's really nice to relationships with their own unique dynamics develop between the cast like this. (Though Kokoro is lacking in this department and I hope that changes soon.) One issue I had with HG was that, beyond the episode where Hinata and Chiyu didn't get along, they only ever explored the relationships between the Cures and their fairy partners. In the end, there wasn't much to ship.

Seemed like they were going in a good direction with Uta realizing what she feels towards Kaito is the same as she feels towards everyone else but then they threw that out of the window right at the end. Why a short scene from early in the show became the start of Uta's crush on Kaito and why Uta only blushed about him like twice since then, this episode included, would be a mystery to meKaito is the result of higher ups wanting to feature a popular male singer in the show because little girls like him. That much is obvious. He's so astonishingly poorly written. It's baffling. And it's ruining Uta. It's such a shame because they good stuff they have done with her have been really good. The Purirun stuff and the Kyuu-chan stuff are some of the best moments of this show. Many of my problems with Kaito stem from him not being a proper character but I hope they go back to ignoring him and once it's time to purify Chokkirinu and confront Jogi they better not bring back Uta's crush on him. This ain't it, staff. Bring back the Uta from before this episode.Hopefully Meroron borrowing that book means she's getting ready to take her relationship with Purirun further. I'm not expecting them to become girlfriends, but they owe the narrative a definitive statement about Merororn and Purirun's relationship. Come oooon give them an episode in which they spend most of the time or at least half of the episode in human forms. Please make up for all of the wated potential. Give us more PuriMero. Please.

Kimi to Idol has been kinda eh on the plot side but it's a good thing that Im not a fag who watches toddler shows for compelling narratives. The episodes have been funny and the characters are great and for me, that's all that matters

Zakkuri fight was not as good as Cutty. Uta grandma episode was not as good as Kokoro mothers day. They really should have focused more on Purirun and Meroron after they became Zukyoon/Kiss. Even the music has taken a step down imo.It's expected that a 50 episode anime won't have homerun episodes every single time but the first half was very close to it and it contrasts hard with the second half.

Admittedly I'm not into MC's fashion/character design but otherwise solid enough cast for episode 1. Gekkomon's in-training stage is super cute! Also nice hearing Hime (and Noko-Tan) as Gekkomon.Gekkomon has a lunar crest on his head, it reminded me of Lunamon from back in Digimon Dusk on DS, Gekkomon would fir right on the cover. Overall looking forward to the future of the franchise with this and the new hit game, I'm slowly beating Cyber Sleuth before I tackle Time Stranger.

I personally didn't like Wonderful and thought it sucked, and that is why it is a poorly-written show. A pattern has emerged in my life where all the things I personally enjoy also happen to have great writing, while the opposite is true for things I dislike. It would simply be a waste of time to point out specific instances or moments because my guiding instinct is so powerful that it nullifies any other argumentative points or evidence. Just trust me, Wonderful is not a well-written show. And neither is Hugtto, for that matter.
