How is your country represented in anime and manga?
>>282812235Way cooler than it really is

>>282812235>Yes, goy are creatures that are no different than livestock
>>282812783That much is true. We don't really get our panties in a twist over being stereotyped, as in our culture we constantly make fun of everyone and everything, knowing full-well and expecting that doing so opens us up to being made fun of as well. Only faggot Chicano mutts get rectally devastated over Speedy Gonzalez and such.

>>282815017Seems pleasant enough to me.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsKp4sITALc
Could be worst.
>>282815081That might be one of the few exceptions. Most other anime gags generally use Max because the characters are kinda like anime characters at times.
>>282813930>>282814838>>282814978There's this series (I still haven't watched it), Shin Chan and his family go several times to Spain, Doraemon visited Spain in the last New Year special, Louise Halevy from Gundam 00, and of course, co-created anime with Spain like Around the World with Willy Fog and Dogtanian. Cucuruz Doan's Island is also set in the Canary Islands. Wow, yeah, it's surprising how hard Gundam carries the references

Canada received pretty much the best representation it possibly could.
I don't think Ireland the country has ever actually been represented in anime, but our mythology is a pretty potent source of inspiration for quite a lot of fantasy settings and characters in anime. Fate is obviously the biggest example.

Japan had joined the winning side at the last moment and thus took on some German prisoners of war.everything you just said bar them taking German POW's is wrongJapanese fascination with Western culture began as soon as first contact. but really took of during the Meiji era with Western=modern=good. they had military advisors from the US, UK, Germany and France. copied German civil law by means of adopting the Swiss copy of it. they even started to brew their own whisky because it's a Western drink so it has to be better than sake and so we should make it. they started brewing German beer and Sapporo still dominates the Japan. As for Japan in WWI, Japan joined the war in 1914 and took over most of Germanies pacific holdings and besieged Tsingtao (also the beer that dominates the chinese bier market) and accepted it's surrender hance taking German POW's. they stayed involved all the way up to the end of the war but most o their contribution was naval in nature and amongst other things they had destroyers in the Mediterranean heling with convoy duty and sub hunting
