Makima's value was in being a good villain. One who set the stakes high and gave a lot of drama in her final arc.Beyond that, her characterization was incredibly shallow to a ridiculous degree, and her motivations bordered on being comical (obsessed with a plush toy). I'm glad she was a thing in part 1, but I'm also glad she's gone, and I'm happy that she's never going to come back. Nayuta is a much better version of her, even if Nayuta herself has already been killed and we get some kind of Conquest 3.0, I'll say that Nayuta as a standalone character effortlessly mogs Makima. It's no real surprise that Power also was way more popular than Makima for a majority of part 1. Just a better, more fun character.
