Why does this series not get the traction it deserves in both anime and manga? It's so much better artistically and storywise than most other shounen right now.

>>282849577IMO the beginning is too slow paced and it filters people. I only started following the manga on a second attempt after we finally had enough chapters out for me to binge. But reading it weekly until about the current anime arc (post Amo, around the beginning of the next arc) was boring. I also almost got filtered by Jabber. Nothing against the character, but he is the first major fight, and then they fight him again. By the 3rd time I was already having Jabber fatigue. Even though technically there are a ton of chapters in between his appearances, somehow it feels like they're constantly fighting the same guy. Glad I stuck with it, but without the Fire Force author's recommendation I dunno if I would have even checked it out.
