the worst thing about current part 2 is the complete lack of imagination on fujimoto's end. in part 1 each arc one upped the last in terms of insane surreal stuff happening and wild devil designs. you went from bomb and typhoon, to darkness and the doll devil, to the gun devil, then to the peak of crazyness with makima and pochita. part 2's climax has just been kiga (just looks like a person, no interesting powers), death (just looks like a person, dont get to see much of her powers), fakesaw man (boring, doesn't do much), a repeat of falling devil and a repeat of yoru vs pochita. the aging devil arc felt far, far crazier and more apocalyptic than anything happening in the actual apocalyptic final fight
