This is not a baitpost or a trollpost, I seethe every time I see this character. I know it's been said 918393 times but I've never hated a character more than I hate Griffith/Femto. Of all the arrogant narcissists in fiction he is by far the worst to me. Because not only is he a mass murderer and rapist but he doesn't feel an iota of shame about it and he gets to live and have everyone feel bad for him when he doesn't deserve it. His beauty is a facade but some people are too stupid to understand that. And his justifications for doing what he does are so fucking creepy to me, self-importance masked as pretend altruism. His rage is terrifying, his dismissal is infuriating, his ability to move on feels unfair. It feels like Berserk captured what it feels when an abuser gets away with everything with no repercussions. The only thing left is gaslighting and the victims left to pick up the pieces, humiliated and confused.
