What stage of grief are you in? Have you changed your opinion about the trailer?
Don't give a shit, jojo is normalfag trash primarily for browns.
>>282923162>Don't give a shitIt looks like you do, after all.
I've lost a lot of interest in Jojo after part 8 ended. And I always thought SBR was incredibly overrated and DP has been showing signs of seemingly not caring much about Jojo for a while now. So it's not unexpected either.
You know as long as arcs like d4c are animated well, the overall animation being a slideshow won’t bother me as much. People these days expect everything to be a sakuga fest like KnY and realize most studios can’t operate like that. It won’t bother me if the anime sucks because I already read the manga. I’m glad that was my first experience. Besides, DP has never been able to capture Araki’s art completely
>>282923283Most people agree that JOJOLands is solid for the moment. Catch up to it if you didn't already.
>>282923498Jojolion was solid for a long time too but then turned to garbage. I don't trust Araki anymore and I've gotten kind of tired of Jojo's format and style anyway.
>>282923283>>282923498How good is Part 8 for story? Someone I know said "It's jojo if it was shoujo" but I'm not sure if it would appeal to me. What are its strongest aspects in comparison to others?
>>282923556It's not shoujo at all. But jojolion is Araki's magnum opus, it's definitely worth it, although it will be appreciated more when the anime comes out.
>>282923078It's fine, it's exactly what I expected but I don't like the blue in Gyro at all, nor the decision to change the start with Sandman
>>282923556>shoujoAlmost nobody into anime/manga actually knows what shoujo manga is and you see this on /a/ all the time. I read a lot of shoujo manga and Jojolion has nothing to do with it. They probably mean it has somewhat more prominent romance elements but even that is stretching imo.Despite how much I ultimately disliked Jojolion, I still think it may be worth reading since like I say here >>282923550 I enjoyed it for quite a while. But Araki ultimately does nothing with a lot of what he built up and the series ends with a wet fart. The series has some pretty good characters and really out there stands, which was a breath of fresh air compared to some of the stands in part 7, some of which were fairly simple and some of which were retreads of earlier stands. And Jojolion has a pretty mundane story too for all of the powers in it, which I think is cool. It kind of goes further in that regard than part 4 but in a similar vein. It's kind of hard to talk about the part and what I did like about it without spoilers though.
>>282923078It looks about what i expected it to be, david's jojo never had stellar animation.
>>282923078When it's coming out
>>282923550Araki bothered to establish an antagonist this time, so part 9 is already better off.
>>282923844He did it in Jojolion with Jobin too and look how that turned out. See you in however many years to see how the series is turning out.
>>282923078
>>282923794MarchMaybe
>>282923550>Jojolion was solid for a long time tooAgain, the storytime debunked it. Part 9 doesn't just rely on J.J. Abram's mystery boxes to keep you engaged.
>>282924197>the storytime disproves how I felt while reading the series
>>282923283Honestly I've been reading SBR for the first time and I think I ruined it for myself by going into it after seeing everyone hype it up as the best
>>282923078Jojo should've always ended after part 3. I just reread part 8 and my mind hasn't changed.
>>282923595>jojolion is Araki's magnum opus
The storytime was my first exposure to Jojolion and it was complete dogshit from beginning to end. With the possible exception of 1 arc
>>282923162normalfags are now obsessed with Demon Slayer, One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen.JoJo isn't that popular anymore.Late 2010s was kinda miracle.
SBR was mid imo. Part 4 is still the best imo.
>>282923078with the way sbr kept being hyped i figured the animation would be top notch
>>282924889Part 4 is literally the worst, I only liked Tonio episode
>>282924939Yeah? How about you tell me more about it? I want to read your critique.
>>282924684People enjoyed JJL more for what they imagined it to become than what it was. What's left after you know most payoffs either don't exist or suck? A story that keeps contradicting itself, filled with tiring pursuits.
>>282923078Pic related stageMy only hope is that someone makes "The SPIN can do THAT?!?"/"Yes, the SPIN can do THAT." edits
>>282923550>Jojolion was solid for a long time toolol
>>282925701>I base my opinions on cancerous storytime threads instead of how the series was viewed while it was ongoing
>>282923078As long as its not a slideshow like part6 i'll be happy
SBR gets really good midway through. JoJorion has a few copl moments in the beginning and then its pure ass writing-wise.P9 seems cool.
>>282925875>erm you can't base your opinions on how it was when you read it, only the opinions of real 2012 """"""old""""""fags matter!"No."Soft & Wet was okayCKB was only good for jerking offGU/BTW was ass, "puzzle fights" was a fucking copeShakedown Road was lower midPMK was only enjoyable ironicallyI Am Rock was goodBettle Tendency was okayDoobie-wah was assLLD was only good for jerking off to Karera and the fist fightand then we get to Vitamin Kino, and the final half, which is overall better than the first half because it makes me feel something other than frustrationTake of the nostalgia glasses, faggot
>>282926125If you read it without knowing where it was going then fine, but I imagine most people in the storytime threads already knew how it ended up, in which case those opinions are worthless, yes. Those opinions are tainted with bias, unlike the opinions of people reading the series as it came out. I'm sorry this realization that your inability to read manga outside of cancerous storytimes leaves your opinions worthless offends you, but it's true.
>>282926596wow that's a whole lot of faggy wordstoo bad I ain't faggy readin' 'em
>>282923078The teaser had good animation and looked pretty sick. I will definitely watch it in on Netflix
>>282923283I just want a proper Western anime.
>>282928740
I wish the art style never changed from part 3.
>>282928623I accept your concession.>>282928823That's like wanting Hollywood to make a good samurai movie. You're asking for someone from a completely different culture to make something specific.
>>282926596I bet he bases his opinions on memes and the quantity of (you) a chapter gets. Easily manipulated by samefagging and new threads created before bump limit.
>>282930465Good news Araki remembered who to draw his previous characters again
>>282923078>stage of griefNever started, kind of expected it to be a total shitfest, will watch it for the lulz and shitposts.
