The way this show is paced, you would think it’s a double-cour series, but according to AniList, it’s only 13 episodes long. I don’t mind the slow pacing myself; I like a show that takes its time establishing its elements, but barely anything happens in today’s episode. Aside from introducing a couple of new characters, it mostly served to reinforce stuff that was introduced last week, mainly concerning the MC’s health and how it’s making him feel insecure about his place in the world. And like the last episode, they only start to progress the whole murder plot in the last five minutes or so.

They set up that the killer may have enough clues to know who the MC is, and not knowing what he looks like would add an element of tension and suspense, because it could be anyone and would put the viewer in the MC’s shoes. I thought this was supposed to be a murder mystery, but so far it feels like it's just a murder with an in progress investigation. Nothing so far leads me to believe that MC should be pulling a Sherlock Holmes and unraveling a mystery that stumps those around him, just feels like MC is shoe-horned in.

They probably want to have as little to do with him as possible, except they also have to pretend to be cordial. If the MC said anything about the body that would put him at the scene of the crime and could be used as blackmail. At least that is what I am assuming.

Looks like we're in for a slow burn mystery, I'm down with that. I'm guessing maybe the real murderer wasn't actually the guy who was chasing MC through the alleys. Also what was this all about?
Might be in the minority for this but I really like the music they chose for this series. The funky OP and the sax quartet for comedic moments is just really good.
