How were you supposed to distinguish between who was Japanese and British in Code Geass?
Lelouch was Japanese. Black hair, nobody comments on his accent, doesn't look much like his father. It's so obvious.
Wait, Britannia invaded Japan just 7 years before the main story of Code Geass? And in that brief 7 years they had already built a high end private school that Britannians decided to send their kids too? Were their parents insane? You should wait at least until the next generation before sending your kids to a conquered country, not so soon after winning it.
