And that's it for chapter 39. A longish chapter at 26 pages.Now, there's one thing I've often thought. Inuchiku is not a prolific author, even more so when compared to others. For a bi-weekly series, the amount of pages he puts out is quite small. With some chapters being only 10 pages long.That, paired with the announcement two weeks ago that the chapter would be delayed due to health issues, has led me to a sobering thought.What if the hospitalized kid story is basically a first hand experience?

Op here.So despite the fact that we got exactly the kind of explanation I was expecting, I'm still disappointed that it was just a broken hand.So my headcanon from now on is that the asshole managed to hit the board in just the right way to get the nail all the way into his knuckle, shredding tendon, breaking bone and even piercing a nerve ending, making him permanently lose dexterity and grip on the whole hand.Works as serious injury for me.
