what does /a think of tokyo ghoul and :re manga? how would u rank it among other seinen mangas, and why is Juuzou so cute?
Juuzou is proof that half of boys should be castrated at birth
>>283000501he still got a big d
I love it. After reading all again last year I appreciated :Re more. Juuzo is a fantastic character.
>>283000636did you like the ending?
>>283000398I wish we got more juuzou. It feels like him getting fixed made him irrelevant and a jobber
>>283000686yeah, I mean, Kaneki is not wrong and all the stuff Kano did worked in the end for both racesKano is a really underrated character, loved that crazy bastard
>>283000398A decent over all story killed by the writer being unable to do third acts. Same with his current manga.
>>283000398TG was a fundamental part of my youth and I will always love it
>>283002769he's doing well with CX, it shows how much he improved
>>283002769>Same with his current manga. The fuck you're babbling about, CX is great.
I liked Kaneki as a protag. Hes seriously just a normal dude who got fucked beyond belief due to circumstance. Usually manga doesn't get that ''im just a normal high school student :)'' psychological profile right, but Tokyo Ghoul certainly did.
I'm glad best boy was spared seeing what a shitshow :re turns into after his demise.Almost immediately after, actually.
>>283000398The first part was a 9/10 read for me.I think I picked it up shortly after the manga entered the final raid arc at the cafe. All the events leading up to it and the development of Kaneki's character were brilliant. That shocking and sad cliffhanger of an ending with no confirmation if the story was supposed to continue or not kept me on the edge of my seat for weeks. I remember the thread when spoilers for that final chapter came out and it was hilarious to see everyone freak the fuck out with all their doomposting. Then the sequel started and I was immediately disappointed for the first time by this series. I just couldn't bring myself to care about all the new characters while the original ones only got the backseat for the majority of the entire story. I think the worst part of it all was Amon who was pretty much the 2nd protagonist of the story. He got so butchered into irrelevance in the sequel that I wondered if the author should've just killed him off at the end of the first part. The sequel felt really slow up until the halfway point where things finally got back on track. Sadly it only lasted for like an arc or two and then the nosedive in both writing and art quality became really noticeable.Every thing after the prison break felt kinda poorly written and rushed aside from a few exceptions. The final arc was a disappointment but after reading the author's apology I can kinda understand why was burnt out and tired of this series.Overall I'd sayTG 9/10TG :re 6/10
>>283004259Both Kaneki and Tokio are great in that regard, just normal dudes who got thrown into the weirdo world and transformed by it.Tokio got a far better deal though
>>283000398For a manga that insists on having constant melees between dozens of combatants, the fights in Tokyo Ghoul are too messy and hard to read. I like everything else about the story but it feels like the things I like always come to a halt whenever a fight starts. I think Choujin X is a great improvement over Tokyo Ghoul simply because everyone has a visually distinct and unique power, and because he's cut down the amount of participants in these fights.
>>283000398i really liked the manga and animedid not read or watch re because i heard its weird
>>283000398re is dogshit
>>283000686Nah. Would have liked it more if Ishida went for the mindfuck Tsukuyomi route first. It's obvious he wanted to, considering that entire last chapter reads like pure wish fulfillment and the fact that he did just that in Choujin X.
>>283000501Why though
>>283007519>and the fact that he did just that in Choujin X.Fucking wild how well he wrote Batista compared to Furuta
>>283007519>>283007605don't spoil CX to the newfags, retard
>>283007791I don't give a fuck
>>283004668Seeing Arima curb stomp Kaneki like that on the first read is such a fucking trip, especially if you don't know about :re (which was the case for me). Also, the way Eto is slowly hinted and built up throughout the whole series and that Takatsuki reveal at the end is so masterfully done. It's so good that even if you figured it out, you can't help but have your mind blown, because her shadow hovers over the story since the very first chapter and even before.
what do you think about Arima, OP?>>283008160retard
I only watched the anime, but I thought it was alright. I read the manga for the CCG stuff since it all got cut.
