Her brothel adventures were always to find Mai and she hasn't had any moments where she yearned to become a prostitute herself. The only times she's questioned her own motives is after she became sex friends with Nanao. Not to mention Nanao winning wouldn't keep them from having threesomes at the brothel for the readers who don't like the idea of Asumi and Nanao only having sex with each other at the end of the story.
