>>283072137Actually, >>283072052 has to suffer almost everyone he knows dies of old age and he has to keep living
>>283072052Where are the volume version of "planet with"?
>>283072473He's not suffering. The entire point is that he managed to find inner peace. And he actually got his happy ending, he literally lived an entire human life with a woman he loved. He's still surrounded with friends and rivals.
>>283074797I mostly agree with you. By "suffering" I'm saying he's living through harsh circumstances. The impermanence of things and the bittersweetness of past glory is still there, and it's not easy to deal with. It's something everyone has to face. And he's facing it but on a higher scale. That's why he has this monologue you posted, he rises through against all odds, managing to keep alive and recapture the warmth that makes him who he is.basically he had his happy ending but things are more complicated than "and they lived happily ever after before dying of old age in their garden surrounded by their grandchildren", and that makes his positive, conquering outlook far more admirable
>>283074797I like how Senia knew his younger self was having vision of his moment and he was like "Look how much of a gigachad I became".
good bread, take a bump
Shakuyaku has to suffer more, because not only is her beloved dead, his soul belongs to a loli goddess for all eternity
>>283072052That sounds like code for "not happy".
>>283072137>t Spider-Man editorial
>>283072052>Every good story ends with the MC achieving enlightenment and peaceIsn’t that what we all want?
>>283078969I speedread the whole TG:RE finale since I was tired of the whole nonsense. But I was happy about the end.
>>283072052too bad this mangaka life is like a curse, every time he got an opportunity, it always flop. Biscuit was big flop TWICE. His reader have aged and are starting to forget about him, and the newer generation seems to dont even care.
>>283082099Life is about more than just happiness
>>283086001I don't know why but when I started to learn more about human history and what led things to where we are now, I suddenly got such a huge fear of death and my own mortality. Death isn't just some abstract thing in movies and anime or for the unlucky few, it's for everyone, and I don't know for certain if this is the only life I'm gonna get, and I always worry I'm fucking up my life or gonna fuck it up somehow. Genuinely don't know how you're suppose to find inner piece. thanks for reading my blog post
>>283086172Very understandable. It's not exactly the same but for me I get this sense of anxiety when I realize my life isn't just one of the things I have, it's my entire being, I have no other frame of existence. It's hard to explain but basically after living day to day and engaging with all the small stuff I end up forgetting that there's nothing else other than my life. You could take religion and afterlife into account, but it's the same, basically the "world" (life or afterlife) is the way it is and nothing else, and when you remember it it's a bit of a blow. I still have a positive existentialist outlook on things but this is one moment of weakness I can have sometimes.Blogposts aside if you're interested in that subject I recommend reading Akagi and Ten.
>>283086259I also understand that view in a sense, but I'll try to do what you said, with the whole positive existential outlook> Akagi and Ten.looks really neat I'll check it out sometime. If you haven't I'd recommend reading Alien nine actually (except the stuff after the flower arc), it honestly also kinda stirred by fear of mortality. Not gonna spoil, but there's this sense of inevitable doom that comes with the aliens that none of the characters can fight against, it isn't even an option, just something they have to accept as a part of their life now. That helplessness and lack of control always scared the shit out of me
>>283086172peace* fuck
>>283086551>sense of inevitable doom that comes with the aliens that none of the characters can fight against, it isn't even an option, just something they have to accept as a part of their life nowInteresting stuff.Interesting alternative to "go and die in a blaze of glory". I'll have to check it out.
