I have always experienced anime and manga about equally. In the past I had less info about what had a manga source and what didn't so I was possibly more likely to watch the anime first but for a long time now I've mostly read the manga for something I was interested in first (not uncommonly before any anime is announced) before watching the anime. If I watched the anime at all.
