Just finished season 1 of Sonic X. This was a boring waste of time that had no idea what it wanted to be and was aimless. Most of the season was pointless and none of the humans are interesting except Helen and TopazThe show is called Sonic X and we don't even get much Sonic in a lot of the episodes. Eggman, Decoe, and Bocoe are pretty much the best part of most of the episodesWhy was this show popular back then!? Most of the time is nothing but filler and I don't like using that word, but that's what most of the first season is. This show wants to be a comedy, but there's a lot of times where it isn't even trying to be funny and it wants to have an overarching story, but most of the season doesn't even contribute to the storyThis show is also animated by TMS, who is known for amazing animation, but the animation in this show is unimpressive

I downloaded the first few eps and never even got past ep 1Dunno what it was, just didn't grab me at all. I remember loving it as a kid. From what I remember and what I've heard, all of the actual KINO happens in s3, where they ditch gay earf and go on a space adventure

Also, Chris is at his worst here. The best parts are probably the Sonic Battle arc and Chaotix episode.Season 3 is where the show truly gets good, shedding its baggage from earlier seasons and going for a serious space opera plot in Sonic's world.
sonic is only popular in the west; we prop up the franchise because we connect that much with the character, in part because of sega of america's targeted advertising in the 90s. the best sonic shows are all western.
