I just want something to actually happen. Super was a zombie show that introduced all this shit like the multiverse but it made the world feel smaller, not bigger and the characters they brought back like buu and frieza didn't do shit.

In the minds of most, DB is synonymous with Toriyama and that makes sense with how much you have to dig to find the reality of what his intentions/skills were and what was the result of influence from his colleagues/fan reception. He was the funny gag guy at heart for better or worse which is why the franchise has floundered since its revival and probably why he became bitter of the industry following the end of the manga's run.

Whatever stars, planets or systems aligned in perfect, singular harmony to make it happen will never align again. It was a fluke of unfathomable proportions and grounds.
