There's an HD render project for The Heroic Legend of Arslan but it lacks subtitles or even the English dubbing. https://archive.org/details/ai-raws-heroric-legend-arslan-hd-remaster/Better question might be how to import subs/dubs.
Try start to finish.
Upside down
Watch it in Japanese.
>>283095773The link I found didn't have subtitles. I finished the dub version. Couldn't find a completed version of the series with subtitles.
>>283095523nyaa dot si has all the torrents you want bro
>>283096801My ass hasn't gotten a VPN in a hot minute so didn't want to mess with torrents but I'll grab it if there's no other option.
>>283095523With your eyes. But jokes aside I would go to war for a proper BD of this thing. Great OVA. Man I swear this series is cursed to be unadaptable though.
>>283096846you don't need one
>>283096994Last time I torrented something with a VPN I got a warning from my ISP so I'm pretty spergy.>>283096891It was made at the perfect place at the perfect time. The character designs and atmosphere is seen as outdated now for some reason but it has a level of soul and love that's hard to compete with. The beautiful synthesis of Persian poetry and the smoothness of traditional Japanese paintings.
watching it in shitty resolution and quality just makes it better.
>>283097123>Last time I torrented something with a VPN I got a warning from my ISP so I'm pretty spergy. You were probably going after something high profile. Nobody's gonna go after some random old ass anime. >It was made at the perfect place at the perfect time. I thought the newer series was FINE and the manga, still going, is probably the closest we'll get to a more complete adaptation but the vibe of the OVA was just so much different in a better way. More dreamy. More theatrical.
>>283097991G P. It will be the one with a bunch of OSTs
>>283097758>I thought the newer series was FINE and the manga, still going, is probably the closest we'll get to a more complete adaptation but the vibe of the OVA was just so much different in a better way. More dreamy. More theatrical. The flow on the artstyle is mesmerizing. It fits the time period well and the romantic and noble undertones well. Everything has meaning and everything is constantly alive and in motion. It meshes well with the feeling of a Persian epic.
grand war fantasy is a tragically under used genre. Of my head I can think of maybe three or four examples.
>>283098561People either attempt to be "realistic" and mostly fail because they have 0 war experience. Are successfully realistic and realize that it's boring and defeats the purpose of a story which is to simplify concepts for us to learn, or simply remove the strategy aspect all together. It's probably the hardest genre to do right.>>283098149Getting the OST as well is a really nice bonus. Thanks.
>>283099180I don't think it should be. There's a lot of material historically to pull from. And it's not as if the viewer is gonna be Sun Tzu. People say the same thing about sci fi as a genre but honestly you really don't have to know too much, you just have to not be obviously wrong.
>>283100118Maybe, but most people into the genre are autists who wouldn't be able to forgive themselves for such mishaps.
>>283101665You'd think with all the insert power fantasy fighting an army would be more interesting to these people. It's the whole draw of the Dynasty Warriors series.
