I loved the last episode. I didn't mind at all that it wasn't Gekkomon's evolution time. My favorite part was definitely when Tomoro wanted to murder the Digimon. I also liked the confirmation that e-pulse being digested to the point that the original victim was unsavable is a real concern even though Hitomi did get away with it. The episode was good again but this time it felt a bit ADHD with how much happened. Feels like it'd take a bit to really understand all of the events in it. What I will say is that I enjoy Tomoro's characterisation and sense of justice but I'm currently feeling a bit cold towards Glowing Dawn. They didn't explain to him properly that E-Pulse can undergo digestion and become unrecoverable then they stop him from killing Punimon for no reason other than "We have a rule to not delete Digimon" when said Digimon was responsible for turning an innocent girl into a vegetable, conspiring with another Digimon to turn Tomoro's brother into a vegetable and trying to eat Tomoro himself. I just don't feel like the guy was even slightly in the wrong for trying to kill Punimon and I was expecting them to reveal that the Hyemon basically reincarnated when it was defeated, but no such explanation was provided so...as far as I am aware it is literally the same evil Digimon and they're protecting it...just because.Really hope to get some more context for Glowing Dawn soon because right now they come across as painfully idealistic idiots who don't communicate important info to their rookie member and make wildly questionable decisions for 'muh ethics' or whatever. An odd thing so far is big focus on Tomoro. This is not on its own odd, Ghost Game started off with Hiro and Gammamon before bringing in the other kids and Digimon more regularly. And then there's all the time (the worst in Colon somehow) where the main boy MC gets the lionshare of shit.But what's odd here is how much the story currently revolves around Tomoro's character, emotions, and motivations. That's unusual, and makes me wonder how the other character focus episodes will go. Feels more like, say, a Kamen Rider show or something. We keep going back to Savers, for good reason, but I can't remember how it worked there with the very similar set up (newbie MC working along side a boy and girl who are already used to all this). The big difference there is I recall less of the story being driven by Masaru's drive, as he was a very different archetype compared to Tomoro's more moody nature with a cryptic backstory.

I'd be surprised if Tomoro evolved in the next episode. I'm not really sure when his evolution will happen, but I think it'll likely coincide when the introduction arc of the season is wrapped up.
