Too many parody episodes, the polybros did nothing and were really quite queer, it was a mistake making S&K part of the main casts, and the finale was unbelievably underwhelming. It really removed the entire charm of the world and characters from S1 in favor of making some dumb Twitter anime about memes. They didn't fuck it up as much as they could have, but they did kinda still fuck it up. And, worst of all, they ruined my favorite character, Garterbelt (and only had my second favorite, Corset, in one episode where he gets a joke death). The fact that they changed his lips really does speak for the production as a whole.

How can someone even argue that Scanty and Kneesocks were better characters in season 1? They were fun villains, but that was their entire role. Beyond the obsession with rules and proper behavior and their respective more haughty/subservient roles, there wasn't much to them. I don't think the show even wanted to take them seriously as characters, since the most humanizing trait they had, their close bond, was turned into a joke with the incest bit. In season 2 they're much more fleshed out while retaining what made them fun in the first place.
