>>283156283It's hard to know, it tried to reuse a lot of stuff from Mirai Nikki, it also started serialization a year after it. maybe the author tried to strike gold again, but going from being top 20 best selling manga with a decent adaption to having one of the lowest and poorly received manga and anime is very weird. speaking of which, how the fuck that thing got an anime adaptation is beyond me, literally nobody liked the manga.

Mirai Nikki is an excellent anime but it’s very stereotypical. You can tell by the writing how bad it is just by the troupes falling straight in your face without any subtlety I’m not at all surprised at this being the only one-hit wonder.
