Not in the sense that its not real and just a story and such, but that the in universe justifications will always be made up by the author, overruling the exceptional strict but clearly non-binding hard power system established-- unless editors step in-- for narrative events he likes and thinks work wellThis isn't even mentioning how God's can actually release divine power at any time, and so every tragedy from Evilus to slavery to OBED is a result of the Gods apathy at best, or interest in destruction and human suffering at worst.If the story had the Gods be unable to exercise power below, everything could be taken much more seriously. But the Gods pretty explicitly don't see it as such, and so in the back of your head in every scene you know that a God could intervene.... Hestia, Astrea, any God about to die anyway, etc. Very much undermines the story established, and in-universe explanations are exceptionally weak.This also means the most evil and chaotic Gods who wanted absolute chaos, even when they knew they were being sent back anyway, didn't use their divine power to wreck more stuff.
