In the end it really doesn't matter if the animation is top tier or the story is deep and complex. All it matters is whether it personally touched the viewer. >>283209903Because it was good but not great. It has one or two really great episodes towards the middle end. I always had a problem with the transition they used. I always think that if you make a scene transition so explicit, like how Transformers had the logo turning over, it ends up taking you out of the show too much and stops you getting immersed in it. The characters were cool, cool concepts etc, but it suffers from its thing of the week format.

Ships with arms as the main space combat option is very dumb but also unique and led to some cool sequences, and the more magical world is interesting as well.It could easily get a sequel nowadays but i dont think they could keep the style intact.

I don't mind pure evil characters but it's just comical how fast it's revealed in the flashback. I think there's something ridiculous like him crushing a butterfly or something. Then later Vash struggles about how to hold onto his pacifism if he has to kill, and suddenly he's like "Aha!" as if he's puzzled something out and has found a secret third way, but he doesn't fight in any different way after that.
