Maybe could be a bit more subtle, but this is my favourite panel, I find that for all the dumb stalling, this chapters gets into what I find missing from a lot of romcoms.You often get a couple in the last chapters, but it doesn't feel it really changes how they interact with one another you know? It lacks that sense of liberation, of them being able to be more forthcoming without misunderstandings.

I recently caught up to this. I have to say, despite being decently written, I cannot take these kind of stories anymore, with the girl being a perfect angel while the guy is just a pathetic nobody. Hr managed to write an entire book worth of reason to love her, but why does she love him? Muh childhood friends? Reading it put me through so much second hand embarrassment and made me cringe so much. She’s literally perfect and he’s a complete loser, I understand that it was the point and him gaining confidence was the plot but I cannot read these kind of stories anymore, at least give him something. It was a good title drop chapter. Usually I can't even laugh at them anymore but this one was good. Nothing beats the TTGL title drop though.
Now that the author has completed the confession arc, a good direction to take it would be similar to Kaguya where they started trying to outdo each other in the later series. Like one of them does the "adult kiss", it would still fit the theme of "I Want to End This Love Game".
