Loved the varied perspectives and establishing shots and how he draws the bodies of the characters in perspective. Reading this reminds me how limited the composition of shots and panels is in many manga.Storywise, I hope the focus on the hammerbuns and tension between Funapa and Vice Chief leads to some kind of teamup. If I had to speculate, I could see the hammerbuns getting conscripted or hired by the kingdom to accompany Garamna, since an entire legion just got wiped out and they don't have any more troops in the immediate vicinity. Remember that Yuva got conscripted in the first place, because the tower has been grinding up available forces in an attempt to rescue the princess. Would be cool if there was some circumstance to bring Funapa along, say, as a door opener, since she probably has the royal genes. Then again, if she's the main hope for the kingdom to have a proper successor of the main royal line, it might be prudent to not take her into the floating death trap.

There's not really a great deal of world building going on, but dedicating time to flesh out the minor characters and show a different pace of life back at the fortress really makes a world of difference. I wonder what significance there is in the excevation team leader spying on Yuva and Lilisen, other than it being funny. I'm sad to say that the cat girl has some pretty big death flags looming over her now. I don't know if there's some kind of doomed yuri situation going on, or if Funapa just thinks she's a cute cat lady, and the cat lady wants to protect Funapa because she's an innocent girl (I have completely forgotten how old Funapa is), but I can see the cat dying tragically in the near future.
