The Gnosia are basically trading one of their own in order to get rid of the engineer, which in some situations you can argue is the correct choice. Best case would be to convince the group to vote out the real engineer instead.

I'm just saying the rationale for the choices you make is very abstract, unlike those multiplayer games.I do recommend that after loop 80 or so, when you've unlocked about 75% of the events and aren't getting new ones, to look up a guide for the rest. It's not exactly off-screen, but it's also something you can't even tell if true or false.

What do you think happens to Yuuri in a good ending timeline after he warps into the next dimension? It's obvious with bad endings where everybody dies, but he should stay alive at the end of this episode unless there is another twist I don't see coming. I've read it multiple times in these threads now that people keep the roles secret when playing the game and even going so far as to prevent the reveals.I've always made sure to reveals them as soon as possible. I get that is poses a risk of getting valuable roles killed by Gnosia, but when they don't report it's just as bad. Also revealing the roles makes the Gnosia come out of hiding. Lets you narrow down the suspects and gives you insight on who's on who's side.

3 episodes in and it's as expected for me. The Gnosia anime would just be boring as shit if you aren't already familiar with the game. The anime actually highlights one of the problems I had regarding the storytelling. Outside of the loops, there's not much going on in terms of character development, plot progression, cool scenes etc compared to Danganronpa, Raging Loop or Kimi Ga Shine/YTTD who also are (loosely) werewolf based and would've been easier to adapt. The fun in Gnosia was intricately tied to (you) trying to figure shit out, getting to know the personality of the characters through the loops and their events, interacting with skills and experimenting. But there's no strong narrative "igniter event" behind each loop other than the ship warning the crew about the presence of Gnosia infectees. It's random each time, removing agency for the characters and making you detached very quickly from the situation. It works well for a roguelite game, not for TV. Depending on your role, a loop can be purely luck-based and frustrating (crew, guardian angel) or powered through if you have high logic and happen to stumble on a loop where Kukrushka or Shigemichi do stupid shit to use the "Definite" skills. The result of trying to adapt info normally transmitted through game mechanics results in shallow dialogue and interactions in the anime during the loops where everything is basically guesswork with characters saying the same thing but slightly differently each time. You quickly end up speedreading through this unengaging dialogue in the game, but you can't do it in the anime. The fanservice and added scenes in between the loops only have value if you already know the characters and wanted to see more of their antics.

I kind of wish the show would try a bit harder with cohesively integrating the mafia/werewolf contrivances into the setting, since we're working with an anime as our medium instead of a video game.In the game proper, you didn't really mind how the player roles like doctor/bug/engineer/etc. functioned arbitrarily or weren't really explained from an in-universe perspective, because you just assume that there's a lot of abstraction going on. It didn't actually matter how or why, for instance, the engineer can determine who's human, because it's just an element to facilitate the werewolf gameplay first and foremost.
