What do sibling focus shows get right? What do they get wrong?
The sister needs to have an interesting life outside of hanging out with her brother.Have more incest reluctancy, it doesn't have to be hyper realistic, just emotionally turbulent enough to be noteworthy.Parents need to be around in some capacity otherwise the taboo doesn't feel real.Stop rehashing the same old little sister moe design found in other sister shows.Move away from the pure love romance cliche.

Having that taboo feeling is really important, especially when public fallout occurs.

>>283304794>Yosuga no Sora's 4th episode aired 15 years ago and 1 day agoIt's imotover the genre is dead.
>>283308766Yea, just about anything that adds more life outside of the sibling context so that the sister feels like a whole ass person instead of feeling like she dematerializes the moment the brother isn't around lol.Oreimo's a good one, what with the whole track athlete bit, akihabara stuff and the friendship she has with Ayase.Usually, cookie cutter imouto stories have no room for this.
