Seems as though there is going to be a ton of dicking around and monster of the week shit. Xros was to the point, the goals were established and mega/kyukyokutai digimoni level digimon were being fought by episode five. Gekkomon hasn't even evolved yet, WTF is going on?

All Digimon stories begin as monster of the week stuff, and the opening shows there will be plot and proper bad guys later on. Just be patient.

I'm really happy with the show. Been quite hesitant up until now, but E4 finally showed me the light. This is probably the strongest start for ANY Digimon series ever. (Though that's because Digimon series notoriously take a long time to get going.)

We have like 50 episodes at least, calm the fuck down. We don't need any of that Xros Wars -style Team Rocket shit from bumbling idiot bad guys, let's enjoy the character beats and the great production value.
