>>283342252Jinbe needs a rewrite, his issue is that unlike everyone else meeting Luffy doesn't change him. We see he's prejudiced against humans in the Fisher Tiger flashback but by the present it seems he's mostly over it. He says he was looking for a place to die during Marineford but we don't explore that afterwards. His own crew pushes him to stop putting others before his own desires but his dream is uhhhhhhh "I want equality for fishmen" and somehow sailing with Luffy will accomplish that I guess?

Their problems mainly stem from king Neptune being an incompetent leader who somehow cant defend his almost impossible to get to kingdom in a perfect strategic position and lets evil slums fester for no reason
